Camille Zamora helps raise funds for Omega House

She was in Houston since early April rehearsing and performing the double role of Amore/Valleto in Houston Grand Opera’s production of The Coronation of Poppea, which closed May 12.

She divided her time between the Rice Village home of her parents, Lois and Stephen Zamora, and the stage. Zamora, who resides in New York, returns to Houston as often as possible either to visit her family or to devote her time to Bering Omega House.

Zamora grew up with a love for music. At an early age, she started singing at the Houston International Theatre School, 311 W. 18th St. and was referred to be part of HGO’s Children’s Chorus at the age of 8.
